The Bureau for Legal, Public Relations, and Cooperation (BLPC) as a support work unit has gone through several developments and name changes, along with its history.
Organization Structure
The Bureau for Legal, Public Relations and Cooperation (BLPC) has the task of coordinating and drafting laws and regulations and legal advocacy, providing public relations administrative support, cooperation and coordination of security and implementation of nuclear security in the BATAN environment. In carrying out its duties, BLPC carries out functions:
• Preparation of materials for coordination and drafting of laws and regulations
• Management of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
• Providing consideration, legal advocacy, and managing legal documentation
• Coordination and implementation of inter-agency relations, media and public information management
• Implementation of agreements and administration of domestic and foreign cooperation
• Coordinating security and implementation of nuclear security within BATAN
