Workshop on Wireless Sensor Networks for Radiation Monitoring
1 ~ 5 October 2012
Jakarta - Indonesia
A wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of spatially distributed autonomous sensors to monitor physical or environmental conditions and to cooperatively pass their data through the network to a main location.
Radiation monitoring involves the measurement of radiation dose or radionuclide contamination for reasons related to the assessment or control of exposure to radiation or radioactive substances, and the interpretation of the results.
ICTP, IAEA and BATAN work together in proving the first workshop on WSN for Radiation Monitoring in Indonesia.
