This Sub Section for Techniques gives services in design engineering and construction, repair and maintenance of electrical and electromechanical equipment as well as means and facilitation for research and development of advanced technology.

The Sub Section for techniques conducts the activities:

  1. Conduct engineering of instrumentation and control in the field of accelerator, plasma reactor and laboratory, conducting engineering of nuclear instrumentation.
  2. Conducting maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment.
  3. Conducting maintenance and repair of data communication network and means of communication.
  4. Conducting electromechanical maintenance and repair.
  5. Conducting maintenance and repair of the main electrical network, and internet network.
  6. Conducting mechanical/electromechanical services and means (utility).

The reactor has the duty to conduct services in empowerment of the research reactor. In conducting its duties, the reactor field holds the functions:

  1. Planning of operation as well as management of reactor fuel element and accountancy of fuel
  2. Operation, maintenance and empowerment reactor.

Chemistry and Technology in Processing Material consists of a functional research officials and other relevant functional officials. This section has the duty to conduct research and development in the field of chemistry and process technology of nuclear industrial material, with details as follows:

  1. Conduct research and development in advanced technology in the field of chemical processes.
  2. Conduct research and development in advanced technology in the field of chemical analysis.
  3. Conduct research and development of technology in the field of high temperature processes.
  4. Conduct research and development in the field of reactor fuel cycle.

Accelerator Technology and Nuclear Physics consists of research functional officials and other related functional officials. This field has the duty to conduct research and development in the field of Accelerator Technology and Nuclear Physics with details of duty as follows:

  1. Conduct research and development in the field of accelerator for low and medium energy particles.
  2. Conduct research and development in the field of accelerator application.
  3. Conduct research and development of technology in the field of nuclear physics.
  4. Conduct development in engineering of components, subsystems or high energy particle accelerator system.
  5. Conduct development of nuclear reactor control.
  6. Conduct development in annihilation of radioactive material.
  7. Conduct development in utilization of high energy particle accelerator for the industry
