Since the enactment of the implementation of the Self-Assessment Culture Nuclear Security Phase 2 by the Head of BATAN, through Decree of Formation of the Implementation Team Self-Assessment Culture Security in June 2015, the team agreed to implement the 4 device of independent assessment referring to the technical guidelines of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA ) on "Self-Assessment of Nuclear Security Culture in Facilities and Activities That Use Nuclear and / or Radioactive Material.
Four self-assessment tools with the theme "Compliance Procedures" include surveys, interviews, document review, and observation. The self-assessment has been carried out throughout 2015,the respondents are BATAN employees in Nuclear Serpong Area (KNS). Employees consist of security officers, structural and non-structural employees.
From the results of the independent assessment, the general conclusion that the attitude of employees showed a positive attitude towards compliance procedures, which means in the mind (cognitive) and emotion (affective) the employees has had a tendency to be that adherence to procedure is important.
But at the level of behavior (conative) showed there are still employees who do not carry out compliance procedures.
